PROAIM-7000 REVERSE ARM. The PROAIM-7000 REVERSE ARM & DV OPERATOR VEST incorporates advanced engineering and precision machining to make it lightweight, strong and most sophisticated system in it's price range.
The arm is made of aluminum and consists of two segments connected together with a pivoting hinge, two joint hinges, 26 stainless steel bearings, high tension springs, An Arm Vest Connector Socket, and a gimbal connector. Each arm segment is a sort of parallelogram and a spring-shock-absorption-system enclosed inside.
PROAIM-7000 Reverse Arm has a capacity of lifting range upto 25" both arm section with a tool-free one-touch lift adjustment for each section. l-key tool set in 3mm, 4mm and 5mm is provided to operate the system. The High tension springs allow the PROAIM-7000 REVERSE ARM to handle a camera load upto 37 pounds.
PROAIM-7000 REVERSE ARM's combined camera and sled carrying capacity ranges from 4 to 50 pounds. The articulated arm essentially acts as a shock absorber for the camera sled (Flycam 6000). When the cameraman moves, the base of the arm moves as well. But the spring system in the rest of the arm responds to the weight of the sled. Instead of a sharp jolt, the camera shifts its position smoothly. When the body of the cameraman jerks, camera glides. DV OPERATOR VEST :
The PROAIM-7000 Reverse Arm is outfitted with a sophisticated professionally designed DV OPERATOR VEST. The DV Operator Vest can hold and evenly distribute the weight of the system across the operator's shoulders, back, and hips. The padded vest has six attachment points for its suspension system.
There are two snap-locks on the shoulder pads, two 26 inch long belts at the waist supporting pad and two 26 inch long belts at the center of the vest secured by velcro. For safety, quick release snap locks and belts with quick release buckles allow the vest to be removed quickly.
FEATURES OF DV OPERATOR VEST :
The vest is fully padded. DV Vest uses self-locking aluminium snap-locks so you can tighten the vest really quick. snap-locks that makes you release the tension of the vest within seconds. The straps themselves are made of though nylon and Velcro so they can be easily replaced or adjusted to suit individual operators. CHEST PLATE : Chest plate is all made of alluminum black anodizing. The Chest Plate is completely locked with stainless steel screws. The length of the chest plate can be adjusted according to the height of the person. There are three knob adjutments of the chest plate. Basically, you'll spend a few minutes the first time you put this thing on in order to get it comfortable. Once you've tightened all the straps and snap-locks, you shouldn't have to change anything (unless somebody else wears it). You need one-time adjustment for all. The Socket is made of steel.

STABILIZER FLYCAM 6000 : Most hand-held shots suffer from a distinct jerkness. Undesired shocks of walking consist of two elements : Quick movement of the entire camera by a small amount, and rotation of the camera itself (tilt, pan, and roll). UNIVERSAL CAMERA BASE PLATE WITH QUICK RELEASE CLAMP :
The Camera Base plate has both 1/4" and 3/8" mounting slots (holes) to accommodate all variety of camera bases. You can slide your camera with base plate of steadicam on both the horizontal and vertical axes, achieved by means of thumbscrews and a movable camera base plate.
This helps in setting the camera even more easily.
The quick release system uses a lever operated clamp. To mount the camera, you press the lever to lock open a cam-like lock.
Now mount the camera to the plate with the help of screws provided. You then slide the plate into the clamp's front flanges and press it down in back to push down a pin that closes the cam to lock the plate into position.
You can slide a plate in only one end of the clamp and out the same (unidirectional). You can slide a long plate back and forth in the channel to adjust the camera-subject distance. Gross balancing and composition adjustments can be achieved by sliding the plate within the jaws of the clamp with a movement range of up to 24mm. Fine adjustment is made with the aluminum knobs; aluminum knobs delivers 1.25mm of travel per full revolution.
BALANCING THE CAMERA :
The base of the stabilizing system is made up of heavy aluminum and steel rods that exerts weights. The aluminum weight plates have set on stainless steel.
The weights are put into weight cups which are screwed onto the aluminum weight plates. Main function of these weights is to balance your camera on this stablizer.
You can hold lcd monitor at one side of the Flycam 6000. The idea of holding screen at another side of post is that the eye does not touch the camera in order to transfer shock to video.
Therefore, the searcher picture is transferred by means of a internal wiring (wiring is done from inside the post). There are slots in post for this very purpose) to the monitor so that person operating this system can walk or run without giving any shock to this system.
The monitor and battery mount is stronger easier to flip for low mode and has a wider range of positions, both vertically and horizontally.
TRIPOD STAND & DOCKING BRACKET :
This system comes with Tripod Stand & Docking Bracket for hanging the arm and stabilizer once set. so you're not stuck with that thing banging around when you're taking a break between shots.
The stabilizer can be adjusted and put down in between filming sessions. The legth of the tripod can be increased or decreased according to convenience and requirement.
